Project: University of Vienna – Rossauerlände
Completion: 2013 (planned)
Client: University of Vienna

Unirossau, a branch of the University of Vienna incorporating the Faculties of Mathematics and Economics, is established within the redesigned buildings of the former pension insurance institution at Rossauer Lände.

Together with architect’s firm Maurer, based in Vienna's 3rd district, Stefan Umdasch designed the interior public spaces for this project. This includes the entrance/lobby area, the corridors, student common areas, and the meeting rooms and conference spaces on the 12th floor as well as the entire signage system.

Here, Stefan Umdasch predominantly wanted to use strong graphics and touches of colour, to help guide visitors and give the interior a unique and impressive character.
